Alistair Canlin

At school I was always accused of being a daydreamer, never quite applying myself and always drifting off on flights of fancy. Eventually I decided to put some of these daydreams down on paper. Some people told me the resultant scribblings were rather good, so I decided to pursue it further. I write short stories, I've also written two novels, some short film scripts, and some screenplays. I just love writing in all its forms, and like to challenge both myself and the reader. It's become a dream to try and pursue this scribbling lark as far as I can, and after all, what's the point in having dreams if you don't try chasing them
