Antonia Pont is a Melbourne-based, Australian writer, who publishes short fiction and poetry. She likes to tell stories about the way we jump to conclusions, fill in gaps and generally fabricate our worlds in ways that are unique but also in conflict with the versions of others. She likes conversation. She likes butter. She thinks a lot about verbs. Melbourne is a big, slick city that is a long way from anywhere. For a writer, that can sometimes be an advantage.
