I'm Ashlee, 23 from Manchester. I recently graduated from the university of Manchester in Philosophy and have just returned from travelling around New Zealand and parts of Australia for the past 10 months. Writing has been a huge part of my life ever since I got told I was the best storyteller in primary school - which for those of you who do not know, it was a pretty honorable position to be awarded - and now I've come back from travelling, I want to use the experience I got out there and use it to develop my experiences into stories. When I was travelling, I heard a quote which stuck with me; "Travelling, it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller" - Ibn Battuta. And now, its my turn to become the storyteller.
