CUT upgrades free-to-publish e-platform....
CUT, the writers’ social network, with a ‘free-to-publish’ service wrapped in a social media platform, today announced the upgrade of its delivery platform.
Developed with Sleeping Giant Media, the new CUT platform is scheduled to launch in early September and will contain more social media facilities for writer members.
Launched at the end of 2014, CUT has already signed over 250 writers and published over 300 ebooks.
In collaboration with The National Association of Writers in Education (NAWE), CUT has created a global standard of quality ebook formatting, which combined with the innovative technology developed by CUT, enables the provision of a free-to-publish service.
Each writer is provided with their own Writer Profile Page which holds links to their work, including reader reviews, and links to their social media activity. It can also be linked to the CUT YouTube channel to show video readings by the writer.
The CUT non-exclusive 50/50 Writer Fair Deal has been applauded by writers, and CUT is strongly recommended by, amongst others:
- Derek Neale – Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the Open University and
- Prue Leith - author and food celebrity
