Fritha Waters

Fritha Waters lives and writes in Norfolk. She survived Dartington College of Arts and completed a degree in Performance Writing, like all former Dartington students, she also mourns the loss of the college. Fritha was lucky enough to win the Traverse Unpublished Writers Jam session a good few years ago now, but still hangs onto the memory. Chapman Magazine in Edinburgh published a short story and then after the intervention of small people, a novel finally emerged. 'Cameo' is available from all good websites. She still writes, although there is not enough hours in the day.

He had looked at the screen for so long now that when he turned his attention to the room around him, everything was smudgy and made of shadows. The air was thick and warm; his living room was a static page.... A man struggling to get over his girlfriend leaving, turns to eBay auctions as a source of comfort, what he finds is quite unexpected though.....
