I have always been a story teller. When I would play with my friends in our neighborhood on the Eastern Shore, I was always the one who would come up with the scenario. If we played army, or cowboys and indians, I would suggest the plot of our adventure. I did not always focus on writing as I also enjoyed art, especially painting. I thought art would be my career but that has not turned out as I had imagined it would. Recently I became involved with performing pieces at a local theater. It is called No Shame Theatre. All that is required is that what ever you perform must be original, under five minutes and you can not break anything; including the law. This has motivated me to return to my childhood of creative story telling and pursue writing. An advantage of writing over painting is that writing takes up less room and is much more mobile.
