How to buy ebooks from CUT....

Selecting an ebook

There are several ways to search for an ebook on the CUT site:

On the main navigation bar:-

  • Click “Find an ebook” to select by genre and sub-genre, if you know already the type of story that appeals to you.
  • Below the genres you can alternatively select by:-
    • All categories
    • New CUT writers
    • New Releases
    • All writers

On the home page the “Our Writers” button will take you directly to a full listing of writers. By clicking on a writer, you will get to their Writer Profile Page, where you will find a list of their ebooks.

When you select an ebook, next to the cover you will see an outline of its story provided by the writer, and perhaps an extract from the text, to give you a flavour of its contents; you will also see the purchase price to download it.

Our standard-priced ebooks are priced by the writer, not CUT; they offer real value for money; we share the proceeds 50/50 with the writer, as part of our commitment to support contemporary writing.

After putting an ebook/s in your basket, and proceeding to the check-out area, you will be asked to log in to your account, or to set up an account. It is not essential to have one, but you may find it very useful in the future. If you do have an account we will send your ebook to the email address stored against it.

Please note that if you change your email address you will need to set up a new account.

Paying for your ebook

When you check-out you will be asked how you would like to pay for your selected ebooks. This can be by debit or credit card, or from your Paypal account.

Downloading your ebook

As soon as your payment has been processed, we will send you an email with your ebook attached. This will be sent to the email address registered against your account. This enables you to download it at your convenience, to the e-reader of your choice. Downloading is a very straightforward process, but if you are unsure of how to do it, do check our ebook transfer guide
