It began with a red geranium. Having imagined the geranium into being she (let’s call her the writer) couldn’t just leave it. The plant had to have a pot; a ceramic pot, red to match the colour of the geranium. But where was the pot? Sitting on a window sill? Yes, a kitchen window sill. She could see the light streaming through the window setting the geranium on fire...
