A bad day at work gets out of hand.
The noise from the burglar alarm was beyond the threshold of pain as Mark pushed open the door to be hit with the stench; the unmistakable smell of cat’s pee and worse. His nose and eyes ran at once. It was dark in there but he was able still see a little. The hated thing brushed past him. Thank god he was wearing boots. He tried to scream and slammed the door shut and leant against the wall, slipping slowly down onto his haunches. His stomach contracted in, forcing his chest out and the air to scour down to his lungs...
