Geoff Poundes
I've written for thirty years, producing a range of short stories and poetry, mostly in my spare time after running a number of successful businesses. I'm a published sportswriter - and my boxing articles have been produced both in print and online.
In 2013 I obtained a BA in literature from the OU, and I've devoted more time to my writing recently. I've written a full length stageplay entitled "Tower", which is set on the 83rd floor of the World Trade Center, beginning at 8.03am on the morning of September 11th, 2001.
I also have completed a teleplay (in three one hour parts) about the life and death of the war poet Wilfred Owen.
Finally I recently completed the first draft of a novel, entitled "The Third Woe", which details the moral, spiritual and physical disintegration of a middle-aged man over the course of one weekend.
