Tony Curtis
Tony Curtis is Emeritus Professor of Poetry at the University of South Wales and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature. Best known as an award-winning poet, he has also written and published short stories for over forty years. These have been published in magazines and journals in the UK, Europe and the USA;also several have been broadcast on the BBC, published in anthologies and translated.
He is working on a selected stories collection called Throwing the Punch. He introduced and established the Creative Writing Masters at his university and tutored a number of award-winning authors, poets and novelists.
Tony Curtis has published over thirty books of poetry, criticism and art commentary. In 2014 he toured his memoir talk My Life with Dylan Thomas at festivals and campuses from Paris to Dublin, via London, Cardiff, Lincoln and Swansea, among other places.
