A girl takes a shortcut through the woods, but soon feels she is being followed.

The wood was almost pitch black, the occasional shaft of silvery light broke through the dense canopy.

She was already regretting taking the short cut.

The dead leaves under her feet crunched as she walked. It was the only noise that could be heard.

Her breath wisped out in front of her in small clouds, seemed to linger for a moment then drifted off into the silvery shafts of light.

She tried humming to herself, to break the eerie silence, but her voice seemed to hit an impenetrable brick wall and fell flat in front of her.

She quickened her pace...
