Three children, two cats, one husband. Plus an enormous passion for yoga which I teach locally as well as a wonderful creative writing group. I have always celebrated words, right from the moment when I could first hold a pencil; my father being my total inspiration, a wordsmith in his own right. We would read and compose together and tell each other stories. I then graduated to my mother's redundant Smith Corona typewriter which gave me years of pleasure and an ability to type at some speed. I hated school, it didn't meet my creative needs. So... I trained as a teacher and spent several years with some of the greatest kids in the universe in the East End of London. Later, when married we moved out to live in Somerset, but the draw of the City still holds me tight. I studied Creative Writing with the Open University and graduated with BA (Hons) My other half and I took our six month 'gap year' and travelled the world in 2009/10- an amazing experience, I am an online writer with a few publications and a member of the fabulous Ether Books. One novel- 'Happy Families' available from Amazon and another bubbling in the ferment. I am an addictive short story/flash fiction writer who loves to unravel stories and a 'twist in the tail' is always a wonderful surprise. Writing fills me to the brim with the most enormous pleasure and feelings of supreme well-being. It's better than chocolate! I have recently published three on-line anthologies filled with flash fiction and short stories: 8 DAYS (2014), FLASH-LITE (2015), DOUBLE TAKE (2015). These are all available from Amazon on Kindle for a nominal amount.
